We wanted to try so many of the things on the menu and got so full, but we were so satisfied! Everything was super flavorful and definitely wanting to go back for seconds! This was Labor Day weekend so I'm so glad we didn't have to wait for a seat. I heard this place gets packed on weekends or some weeknights. It was all of our first time and we weren't disappointed at all. My friends were very impressed with the food. We'll definitely be back to try items on their menu!
Absolutely loved this place! The vibe was super fun and lively — perfect for a night out with friends or family. The oven fried chicken was crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite had the perfect crunch! They also have an amazing beer selection that pairs perfectly with the food. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, drinks, and a good time!
Had sn appointment nearby, need to kill an hour. No expectations. Very pleasant surprise. Wood fired pizza. An very nice absolute n tonics for my wife. I asked for u sweetened iced tea Bartender said they do have but she could make me a hot black and p I urge over ice. Was Fantastic. And the prices..mich better than I expected being in Fort Lee. Place was excellent all around. You could do much worse then spend so time and hard earned cash here

Mother’s Day. It had been a while since we enjoyed chicken and beer, and we had a delicious and satisfying meal. The soy garlic and ghost pepper wings were absolutely amazing. Everything was so perfect, it’s easy to understand why the place was packed with customers.
Awesome food and awesome people. We get their smoked pork belly with fried chicken. It was definitely the best pork belly i eat so far in NJ!!
Small place with great flavors. We had the soy garlic wings which were delicious and had lots of meat on them. The squid fries were wonderful. The corn cheese was very good just needed something to scoop them up with for which I used the crust from the delicious shrimp pizza. Would come again and again.
It’s a place that you need to try if you really like and understand the Korean approach. Everything is crafted and I can say it is pretty close to a 5 stars in quality and flavor. The menu is not designed for celebrities, so I don’t understand why a full well done $13 to $20 dollars dish needs to be done a certain way for some reviewers. This is a Korean restaurant not Kentucky fried chicken, so no room for comparison. I am impressed with the service and also the price. It’s a great bang for the buck here in fort lee. Better than Florida and Denver Korean’s food. I will Def add this one to my favorites and recommend it to friends, Family and co-workers. See you next month on my next trip and great job.
Exceptional Food and Truly Compassionate Service! 🍗🍕🍳 My partner and I visited JJ DAK this past Sunday for lunch after church. As a Level 5 Local Guide, I look for places that master both the menu and the hospitality and JJ DAK delivered on both. The Culinary Highlights: Iron Pan Kimchi Fried Rice (with Shrimp): This was a showstopper! Served in a hot iron pan, the rice had that perfect slightly crispy bottom, and the addition of succulent shrimp made it incredibly hearty. It’s a must-order for the table. The Wings: We tried the Korean Yangnum Wings, and the crunch was perfection! They have that signature "glass-like" crispiness that stays light and flavorful. Snow Garlic Shrimp Pizza: A unique fusion discovery. The savory garlic and fresh shrimp on a perfectly baked crust offered a wonderful balance to the spice of the other dishes. Sides: The Squid Fries were fresh, crisp, and the perfect snack to start the meal. Service Above and Beyond: The food was great, but the service was unforgettable. During our meal, my partner experienced a sudden nosebleed (Epistaxis). Our server—though I didn't catch her name, was a total hero. She was calm, kind, and immediately helped us with ice and directions to the restroom. Her quick response kept me calm, and she continued to check on us with genuine concern throughout our stay. Verdict: Between the perfectly crispy chicken, the savory iron pan rice, and the heartwarming service, JJ DAK has earned two loyal customers. I highly recommend this spot to everyone!
The best korean american food in town! Try smoked pork belly extra crispy. We ordered corn rice, fried squid, fried wings. Normally we always get wood fried chicken with cheese corn and rice. Everything They is 10/10. People working here is very friendly. The prices are great. They have some parking in the rear as well. An amazing gem to come with friends and enjoy fascinating food. They have so-mac bucket as well. Make sure you try soju with terra. :)
